I am an Exhibition Designer with interest in electronic and digital media. Previously I have explored various forms of design practices, through working as a designer at Glue Design Pvt. Ltd., later running my own practice by setting up Real Monkey Design Studio. Currently I teach at National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad in department of New Media and Exhibition Design. Through these experiences, I try to explore concerns of design, designer and design practice.
I have worked for design of retail spaces, trade-show pavilions, thematic exhibitions, orientation centers, identities, printed promotional material, environmental graphics, way-finding, websites, interactive installations, and audio visual presentations. On every project I essentially try to experiment and develop design processes that allow me to apply myself to a larger domain of design instead of confining myself to any single specialisation.
In time to come, I want to practice a mix of many activities that inform each other - body of work- lateral connections between mediums and forms - business practices and cultural implications - capture changes - thus articulate a broader, contemporary context relevant to emerging histories - I want to make sculptures / new media productions that are informed in my understanding of the media / architecture / environment we live in and understand this environment through my personal, professional and academic work.

Rajka is a design, manufacturing and exporting venture. They use traditional indian techniques to design and create an contemporary range of home furnishings, clothing, pottery and lifestyle accessories, suited for modern lifestyles.
We took our design cue from the fact that the main feature of Rajka's product line is the fabulous variety of stitches techniques executed by the best and most skilled craftspersons.
Hence we developed a visual design of web inspired from the textile surfaces and texture that are created by the handwork. For Navigation experience we were inspired by the browsing pattern involved while using the Palm leaf manuscript, tradition book-form of india.
